U Varhanáře Villa
At the end of the 19th century, Jan Tuček, a major producer of organs in Kutná Hora, began with the construction of his family villa together with an organ workshop and a warehouse, in the hillside under the Cathedral of St Barbara. This villa was converted to what is today known as the U varhanáře Villa. The villa offers its guests 10 rooms, a summer terrace with 60 seats. The indoor restaurant seats 35 guests in 2 lounges. The hotel is located in the pedestrian zone in the immediate vicinity of the Jesuit College, and therefore does not have its own parking (with parking available in the street above the hotel or at the Abbot Hotel), but the combined view of the Cathedral of St Barbara, the Jesuit College, the Church of St James, and the Italian Court is one-of-a-kind and unique in the city.
